The
LCA Thunder Bomber Squadron was formed in 2007 by Tunes and JS07
to add a full-time bomber force to the ranks of the LCA. It has
taken a couple of years to make our mark and fill this squad's ranks
with skilled bomber pilots, but as pilots joined our purpose and
capability increased.
Our current force, with the help of XOs Tarstar and Hornet79, have
made LCA Thunder a reliable and powerful force in the LCA.
Just recently, DAKone created the 'LCA 1st Fighter Group' with the
expressed mission of escorting our bomber force. I am really excited
about having more bombers get to target with these skilled pilots
flying the P-38s and covering our "6"!
Hornet79, our targeting officer and second XO, has created "bomb-by-the-numbers"
maps which every member of LCA should have. They can be downloaded
from the LCA Combat Information Center [RESTRICTED].
These maps REALLY makes the difference in our missions as the LCA
gets bigger and the vox chatter increases.
