Looney Goonie!
M
embership in the Loose Cannons Alliance (LCA) is open to both individuals and squadrons. To view the various membership categories and requirements, please continue reading below.

Individual Membership

The LCA is open to any ROOK player who is interested in joining us.
Prospective members are encouraged to fly with us for a few weeks so they can be sure that they enjoy our style of play and can get along with the rest of the members. We can usually be found on VOX 182.

We don't have any firm age requirements. We only ask that younger players interested in joing the LCA deport themselves in a mature manner and act in a way that reflects favorably upon the Group. The Loose Cannons Alliance is an equal opportunity squadron. We don't discriminate on any basis, not even if you're a 'squeaker'.

We also have no proficiency requirements. All we require of a player that's new or who feels they aren't the most capable pilot, is a willingness to learn. As the saying goes, 'when the pupil is ready, the master will appear.'

If you've been flying with us for a while and want to join, ask one of the officers for an invite and if he deems you acceptable, we'll put you in one of our squadrons as a candidate pilot. After 30-days of probationary service with the LCA, the squadron commander that you were assigned with will determine whether or not to accept you as a formal member of the LCA.

Squadron Membership

Unique to the LCA, Squadron Commanders are welcome to bring their entire squad into the LCA Group. Commanders who elect to do this retain control over their squadron but must submit to the direction of LCA Founders, the LCA Group Operations Officer and attend LCA events.

Squadrons applying for membership within the LCA Group must have a minimum of 8 active players to be considered. To begin the process of merging your squadron into the LCA Group, simply contact 96Delta in-game or by using our convenient V-Mail contact form. Squadron membership is contigent upon the approval of the LCA hierarchy and by a vote of the general membership. Such membership, if approved, can be rescinded at any time by either party.

Affiliate Pilot Membership

We recognize that many members of other squadrons may desire to participate in missions more frequently than their squads do. We also understand that some players have grown dissatisfied with their current squad and are looking for a change.

As a consequence of these factors, the LCA welcomes members of other squadrons within our ranks during operations. To participate, simply tune your VOX to 182 and let a Group Officer know that you read this page and wish to fly with us as an affiliate pilot.
