The Bell boys had some rough fights with the Tainan Kokutai in the April-May-June period, and had enough respect for their foes to say they flew "Double Zeros"--each Japanese pilot was twice as good as he had any right to be. |

Just saw this....I had a good laugh. Thanks for that one Glen.
I all the British pilots who stood almost alone against the Nazi's at the beginning of WW2. As Americans we tend to get taught the history from our perspective, and that is unfortunate, because all through school I was taught basically that the USA won WW2 all by ourselves. Very much not the case, and when I went out on my own and studied History and the events surrounding WW2, I got a great since of what the English had done.
