Okay guys, I wanted to take a stab at making a video and
here is the result. I really gotta learn this video editing stuff.
I gotta research software for Windows and start practicing.
This stuff is neat! Gotta try to add some music to the next one
I make.
The mission is from AATalen's final blowout mission
on Friday before he went away for training.
The video quality was severely degraded by YouTube
when I posted it but what the heck..
Here are the steps:
1 - Download and install FRAPS (www.fraps.com)
2 - open the AHFilm Viewer and watch the video you made while running FRAPS (hit F9 to start FRAPS recording where you want during the movie and F9 again to stop it. The demo is limited to 30 seconds per recording which is plenty. Just hit F9 when you want to record another 30-second segment.
3 - Open Windows Movie Maker (Start->Programs->Windows Movie Maker). It may be somewhere else on your computer but windows machines come with this software standard.
4 - import the various movies and drag them onto the film strip at the bottom. Its a really easy program to figure out and there are tons of help files and tutorials if you get stuck. Once your done save it. Then choose 'Save Movie File' from the File menu. This will be the movie you will upload to You Tube.
5 - Login to YouTube (create a free account if you need to) and upload your video. And thats it! Then just copy and paste the link into the forum and your all set. _________________ Air Combat Manuevers CLICK HERE.

In the game press the Video Capture Hotkey (F9) when you want to start recording. While recording the frame rate counter will turn red. When you want to end your movie, press the button again to stop recording. You will now find the movie saved in your default folder.
