That sim you refer to has many identical elements of Il2. Most likely from Il2 or that which is similar

The engine startup, rev, flight sounds are exactly the same as in Il2
THe gun sounds and recoil exactly the same
Contrails and high-alt vapors the same
Smoke and damage the same
PLunging into the ocean the same.
Skins are the same detailed...
Gun hits into your plane the same as Il2
Smoke/oil coating your windscreen the same.
Horizon up high the same curvatures and darkness...


Am convinced this is the future of FLight simming historical action. Il2 Sturmovick or those like it. Just gotta afford that pc that could run it (oh one day).
