Seems like you guys are really taking to the
moviemaking aspect of the game. So, I thought
it a good idea to post some links to some
excellent tutorials that you can study so you
can elevate your filmaking game, so to speak. Wink

If anyone finds other filmmaking tutorials that would
be helpful in making snazzy AHII movies, please post
them in this thread.

Thanks!

When I use the AH editor, and save to AVI, it asks for what type of video compression. Full frame, Microsoft, Cinepak, Intel...

For right now I saved as full frame, however, what is the best compression to use?

I dunno.
I gave up on the Film Viewer awhile ago
but Tarstar is familiar with it. Maybe
he can answer this?

Well, I tried all sorts of compressions and none of them seem to record properly. Guess it's my vid card.

I get 0 bytes on 3 of the other compressions. However, when recording full video uncompressed, it saved it as 1 gig. And still unplayable.

I downloaded fraps and the video record hotkey don't seem to record. Just bounces from Yellow, to White "1", then back to yellow...

I'm really not sure on the AVI thing.. I use fraps to record clips I put together in the film viewer.. Then assemble those in WMM or sony.. The tutorials here can help you with that.. Keep experimenting.. The forums are also a great resource for movie making help and a lot of people are willing to give input.. Good luck Gldn..
